What MPI measures
Market Perception Intelligence (MPI) reads how the crowd perceives a market and compares that with price reality. It tells you whether the mood is ahead of the price, behind it or in line with it.
Its core states run from Euphoric through Optimistic, Neutral and Cautious to Fearful. Its phases are Building, Holding, Stretching, Cracking, Reversing and Normalizing.
The regimes to know
Smart Accumulation means larger trades lean to the buy side while public awareness is still limited. Smart Follow means informed participation is leading the move. Retail FOMO means the crowd is chasing. Distribution Risk means enthusiasm is high while stronger hands may be leaving. Panic means fear is driving the tape. Mixed Signal means no perception regime condition is met; it is an open read, not a conclusion.
Perception Intelligence: the market on MPI
The Intelligence page shows how steady the crowd is across the market with Stability vs Fragile, compares the largest trades with retail in Top Trader vs Retail Intensity, splits the market across perception regimes in Regime Allocation, and lists the top assets.
Perception Structure Analysis: the gap
On one asset, the Perception vs Reality Gap plots the crowd's sentiment against the return price actually delivered. The gap is labelled Underpriced, Fair, Overextended or Bubble-Like. A widening Overextended or Bubble-Like gap is the classic late-move warning.
Perception Metrics Breakdown: the crowd in numbers
The Metrics page adds Sentiment vs Reality, Volatility State, Order Flow Toxicity (VPIN, how one-sided and informed the trading is), Crowd & Retail Behavior, Retail Intensity and Retail Buy vs Sell Split.
