The resting walls table

Fake Wall & Trap Map lists the resting walls seen in the book. Each row shows the price band, the side and how many times a wall appeared there, for example Ask ×121, the wall size and its status.

Fake Wall & Trap Map: resting walls by price, side and size, with their fake, cancelled or active status.

Reading the status

Status tells you what happened to the wall. Fake, for example fake 121/121, means the wall disappeared before price reached it on almost every appearance. Cancelled counts cancellations. Active means the wall is still resting and has not been pulled.

The summary line

Under the table, the summary counts the walls seen, the fake walls, the cancelled walls, and the trap and fake zones. Compare fake walls with walls seen: if most walls were fake, the visible book is mostly decoration.

Checking a price on the map

Search the map for the price you care about. An active wall with a long history is more trustworthy than a large wall that is marked fake on nearly every appearance.
